During the program Mohamed Ally from Athabasca University will present on Mobile learning: Hype or evidenced impact for higher education applications?. Diana Laurillard from London Knowledge Lab will speak on the critical role of the teacher in optimizing technologies for open learning. A third speaker, Gr&#225;inne Conole from the Open University UK will cover Social inclusion or exclusion: What do we already know about the learning patterns of socially excluded groups and what does Web 2.0 offer that is different for the distance learner? All invited speakers will be present throughout the SUMMIT, many will also be involved in discussion panels, enabling positive engagement with delegates.SUBMISSION DEADLINE SEPT 25 2010.</description>
